Bohemia, NY (PRWEB) November 14, 2012
On November 14, 2012, city bike manufacturer Linus Bike responds to an article published by The Province which reports that cycling in Metro Vancouver is up by 25%
According to article author [Elaine O’Connor, “Bicycle commuting is up more than 25 per cent since 2008, according to a new survey by TransLink.” O’Connor goes on to state, “The transit authority found that commuters across the region were making a total of 106,500 bike trips a day — more than half of them to and from work, according to the latest data from fall 2011,” resulting in cycling becoming the fastest growing means of transportation in the area.
China Reevers, a representative for commuter bike manufacturer Linus Bike, applauds the article by stating; “We’re truly ecstatic to hear that commuter cycling is on the rise in more areas. The increase in Vancouver commuter biking is admirable and inspiring – cycling is so beneficial for the environment and for individual health, we can hope that many other metro areas will take a cue from Vancouver and start pedaling, too.”

Not simply a bicycle company, Linus Bike sells a complete line of accessories for the environmentally conscious and for those who have a fondness for European style bicycles and the great tradition of European cycling.
