PASCO, Wash. -- A Franklin County courtroom was filled with big smiles Friday for National Adoption Day.
The event is a chance for adoptive families to share stories, answer questions, and celebrate their children.
A judge also officially signed off on some local pending adoptions. In fact, 5 happy children were formally adopted into three loving families during today's ceremony, including two little girls for the Huldt family.
"It's something that we've always wanted, to do, is give back to the community. It's been fun, its been a blessing," said adoptive father Charles Huldt.
This is the 8th year for National Adoption Day in Washington.
