Eastern Washington quarterback Kyle Pardon was named the Co-Offensive Player of the Week in the Big Sky on Monday after a brilliant performance Saturday that sent the Eagles to the postseason in style.

Padron came off the bench to throw for 381 yards to rally Eastern Washington to a 41-34 win over Portland State. He threw for two touchdowns – both to Nicholas Edwards, and both in the second half. Padron also scored the winning touchdown on a 1-yard run with 1:25 to play.

The other player of the week was Weber State running back C.J. Tuckett. The senior from Malta, Idaho set a WSU single-game record with 298 rushing yards and two touchdowns against Idaho State.

Eastern Washington was selected to the FCS playoffs as a No. 2 seed on Sunday. The Eagles will play the winner between Wagner and Colgate on Dec. 1 at Roos Field in Cheney.
