WAPATO, Wash. - Wapato could have the first strip club in the Yakima Valley.

The Wapato city council approved a licensing ordinance on November 19th, requiring strip clubs to be at least 500 feet from schools, parks, and churches.  

Ignacio Martinez, who owns the Martinez Sports Bar, says he wants to have nude dancers at his bar, and plans to open a new location. Martinez says he thinks adult entertainment will bring more people to Wapato.
