PASCO, Wash.- A Franklin County judge this week will decide whether a man accused of child molestation can act as his own attorney.
Neftali Silverio Camacho, 31, says his public defender isn't acting in his best interests.
Camacho had the same complaint two years ago when he represented himself on charges of trying to lure young boys to his home.
The jury convicted Camacho and he served six months in jail.
In his current case, Camacho is accused of inappropriately touching a young boy six years ago. Prosecutors say the boy came forward after Pasco Police arrested Camacho on the luring charges.
