SPOKANE, Wash. -

The Zags have the entire week off to prepare for their most difficult challenge so far, and possibly the toughest test they will face all season.

Gonzaga hosts No. 1 Stanford on Sunday. The game will be shown live on SWX in Eastern Washington and North Idaho.

The Cardinal kept their No. 1 status for the second week in a row. The new AP Top 25 poll released Monday showed Connecticut at No. 2 and Baylor at No. 3. Duke was No. 4 and Notre Dame was No. 5.

Stanford won its only game last week, beating Long Beach State on Sunday. Gonzaga went 2-1, beating Missouri State and Winthrop in Hardwood Tournament of Hope in Mexico. They lost 55-42 to Louisville.
