RICHLAND, Wash. - The first pre-season competition for Mid-Columbia Conference Boys Basketball starts Tuesday, it's the jamboree at Chiawana High School. That's where the Richland Bombers hope to get things going in the right direction after finishing second in the BIG-9 4A last year. Head coach Earl Streufert says one of the Bombers strengths is their un-selfish play.
"We're very unselfish, guys play together like crazy. You know they have a great practice demeanor, they do a good job, they just have to learn to stretch themselves a little bit and play a little better. Well our expectations are always the same, we just want to win every game. Whether or not we're going to do that, I don't know. pretty high hopes for these guys, they're a young group but pretty talented and we'll just have to see," said Streufert.
