PASCO, Wash. -- NBC Right Now continues to follow the case of a former Franklin County public works accountant accused of embezzling millions.
Tuesday, Judge Vic Vanderschoor agreed to allow Dennis Huston's attorney, John Jensen more time to go through 4,500 pages of evidence and discovery, including 10-20 search warrants, the report released by the State's auditor's office and the highly debated private investigation report done by outside attorneys for the civil trial.
Earlier Tuesday, Judge Craig Matheson conducted an "in camera interview "with Huston, and then reviewed the private investigation report. He allowed a redacted 9 page version of it to be released to Huston's attorney to be used for the criminal trial.
The document will be sealed from the public. Trial has been pushed back to March 6th.
