YAKIMA, Wash.-- Northwest Harvest in Yakima got a big donation from Tree Top Thursday to help with our Family Food Drive.

Tree Top delivered almost 40,000 pounds of apple sauce and apple cider.

NW Harvest provides food to nearly 50 food banks across central Washington. The warehouse manager says this donation helps to kick off our family food drive every year.

"We have several other donations, big truck loads coming in too and so it's going to really, this is going to be an outstanding food drive. It's going to be great," said Lisa Hall with NW Harvest.

Tree Top has been the main sponsor of our Yakima food drive for 11 years, and they'll be out there again this weekend handing out free cider to anyone who drops by.
