SPOKANE, Wash. – The new chancellor at Washington State University Spokane is the former Washington state Senate Majority Leader.

WSU President Elson Floyd says Lisa Brown is well-positioned to "take the program to the next level."  

Brown did not run for re-election this year. She will begin her new job in January.
