Yakima, WASH.--A block will be closed off at the corner of 3rd and Yakima Avenue Saturday morning for the NBC Right Now Family Food Drive.
Starting at 8 a.m. you can stop by and drop off donations of non-perishable food items.
You don't even have to get out of your warm car. Our employees and volunteers will be ready and waiting to help you. But of course, you're more than welcome to step out of your car and stay for awhile because we will have plenty of entertainment for you.
Our local marines will be bringing one of their big tanks again this year as they collect toys for Toys For Tots.
Santa Claus will also make an appearance on 3rd Avenue, as well as a magician and some talented dancers from Melody Lane Dance Studios.
So stop by Saturday, bring a donation and have some fun!
