SR 240 accident sends three people to the hospital

RICHLAND, Wash.-- A car accident caused by a driver going the wrong way on State Route 240, sent three people to Kadlec Regional Medical Center Saturday night.

One of those, was a 13-year-old boy.

All three people were wearing their seatbelts and both cars were totalled.

It happened just after 5pm near the Columbia Park Trail exit.

Washington State Patrol says charges against the wrong-way driver are pending.
