Teenage suspect arrested for robbery and resisting police

KENNEWICK, Wash. - A teenager is behind bars today after being accused of robbing another teen and then attempting to run from police.

According to Kennewick police, 19-year-old Blake Dalton approached 18-year-old Cody Ayers Sunday evening in the area of 1724 W. 45th Avenue. Police said Dalton threatened Ayers and demanded money. Ayers handed Dalton $5.

Officers said when they arrived at the scene, Dalton attempted to run away but police caught him. He has been booked into Benton County Jail for Robbery and Resisting Arrest.
