Sherman, Brown Likely to Play for Seahawks Another Week
Seattle cornerbacks Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner are expected to be available for Sunday's game against Arizona despite their being suspended four games by the NFL.
Sherman has an appeal hearing scheduled for Dec. 14, which means he will definitely be available for Sunday's home game against the Cardinals. Browner still has not heard when his appeal will be heard, which means he too will likely be available for the game. By rule, players can continue to play until their appear is heard by the league.
Both players were suspended after testing positive for Adderall. USA Today said Sherman accidentally took the drug by drinking from a bottle in which a teammate had crushed a pill.
Having Sherman and Browner on the field is important to the Seahawks. Seattle holds the sixth and final playoff spot in the NFL after they beat Chicago in overtime on Sunday.
