YAKIMA, Wash. - A trade show for the tree fruit industry brought more than 1000 people to the Yakima Convention Center over the weekend.
1600 people came out for the 108th annual Washington State Horticultural Association convention and trade show at the Yakima Valley Sundome. 250 exhibitors set up to show their equipment, services and products.
Washington is the nation's leading apple producer. This year's crop was a record 121 million boxes, each weighing about 40 pounds.
