Truck Tips Over, Spills Fuel on Round-A-Bout Near Blue Bridge

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Crews are cleaning up a truck hauling scrap metal that tipped over on its side, spilling diesel fuel near the interchange of State Route 240, US 395 and Columbia Drive.

The accident happened Wednesday around 4:30PM and caused a one lane closure in the round-a-bount closest to the base of the Blue Bridge in Kennewick.

The truck was traveling eastbound on SR 240 when it lost control going into the round a-bout. Two men were in the truck, but were not injured.

Crews said it could take two hours before the accident is cleaned up.
