Interstate 90 Closure for Avalanche Control

KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash. - The Washington State Department of Transportation will be closing down a portion of I-90, about four miles east of the Snoqualmie Pass summit Wednesday morning.

Crews will be doing avalanche control from milepost 56 (near Gold Creek) to milepost 61, (near Price Creek) starting at 10:30. Eastbound traffic will be stopped at milepost 56, westbound traffic will be stopped at milepost 61.

The DOT isn't sure when the roadway will reopen.
