PASCO, Wash. - The City of Pasco is holding a public meeting Wednesday night on their upcoming Powerline Road Project.
The first phase will begin this summer and will extend Powerline Road from Broadmoor Boulevard to Road 68 with a 28 ft. two-lane roadway.
The project is in the planning phase right now but the goal is to help ease congestion along Road 68 as new developments continue to sprout up in the area.
"What we're looking for from the public is whatever input they may have for us, registering any concerns they might have with another roadway going in. Any ideas or questions they might have regarding the corridor," said Mike Pawlak with the City of Pasco.
Wednesday's meeting is at Pasco City Hall from 6PM to 8PM. The City said they want to get input from the public before plans are set and construction begins.
