KENNEWICK, Wash. - One young lady got exactly what she wanted for Christmas when she went to see Santa at Columbia Center Mall.
Zach Anderson invited his girlfriend, Samantha Mettling, and her entire family to get their pictures taken with Santa.
When Santa asked what she wanted for Christmas, there was a box, and inside a ring, and then Zach got down on one knee and asked the big question.
The Kennewick couple, both 18, have been together for two years and she said yes.
"I was surprised, and kind of happy. Its really pretty so I'm really happy," Samantha said.
The couple said they are going to wait a few years to get married, until they're finished with college.
She kept asking if I was up to something but I knew he was up to something but I didn't know what it was. I kept saying no, we're just going to take pictures with Santa," Zach said.
