YAKIMA, Wash.-- Yakima Memorial Hospital says man stabbed in the chest on Monday is now in stable condition.
Yakima Police say 38-year-old Jose Ramiro Calvario was attacked with a knife Monday at his home on Roosevelt Avenue.
Calvario told police his brother-in-law, Esteban Gonzalez Reyes, had stabbed him.
The brother-in-law was arrested when he came back to the scene while police were still gathering evidence.
He's in jail facing charges of first-degree assault.
