KENNEWICK, Wash. - Another health facility is in the works in Kennewick. Tri-Cities Community Health is taking over the old Grace Clinic building off of Clearwater Avenue.
It won't be hard for them to make the transition to the new facility. It's currently being renovated and will eventually offer primary medical care, dental health and mental health services. The office TCCH is now using in Kennewick is much smaller and doesn't allow for as many health services.
"The current clinic that we have doesn't do a good job of serving patients well. I just think its too small, the functionality. We're not able to meet the growing demand for our services," said CEO Al Cordova.
Along with the expansion of the new clinics, Tri-Cities Community Health has added more doctors, nurses, dentists and other health professionals.
The new clinic in Kennewick is scheduled to open its doors in about a month.
