PASCO, Wash., -- Wes Heyden is joyfully overseeing construction of his newest Roasters Coffeebar on Burden Boulevard in Pasco. Just why is he so happy? Because it's the first of his four Tri-Cities locations he's built from the ground up.
MH Construction is the contractor for the project, which is being done in partnership with Richland businessman Tim Bush who's building a carwash there.
Community First Bank is financing the 13-hundred-square-foot shop. The 10 employees of the new Roasters Coffee should be ready for their first customers sometime in March.
"It's unbelievable to have the community embrace us the way they have," says Heyden. "It's way more than anything that I've ever thought we would have at this point. We really have a huge, almost cult-like, following."
