UNION GAP, Wash.-- An 89-year-old Union Gap man is recovering after two robbers forced their way into his home and attacked him.

Police say it happened around 4:30 Friday morning on the 2,000 block of South 11th Avenue.

The two men, described as having thin builds and in their 30's got away with some money and other valuables.

The elderly victim had to be taken to a local hospital for his injuries.
