YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash.-- Yakima Valley Libraries is offering a new service to people across the valley.
Wireless internet is now available to library users from Granger to Terrace Heights. A total of ten locations now have the free service.
All you need is your library card, a password, and your personal computer.
Administrators say the service will help connect people across the county.
"Students can bring their laptops in, do their homework, sit down wherever they want, be very comfortable. So, we're looking forward to opening it up to those other wireless libraries and hopefully people will really like that," said YVL Director, Kim Hixson.
Hixson says they're still working to get wireless internet installed at the Sunnyside, Selah, and Buena locations. But they're hopeful that will happen in the near future.
