Eisenhower High School Club Looking For Ski Donations

Posted: Updated:

YAKIMA, Wash. - Eisenhower High School is looking for any and all ski or snowboard equipment they can get.

Kaitee Franck, President of the Ski and Outreach Club, said almost a dozen new members joined this year, and they've never been skiing or snowboarding before.

Franck said the club is a great way to meet people and can keep students out of trouble on weekends. However, she admits high costs can turn people away.

"This will help a lot," Franck said. "Especially for the kids who've never gone because they have no idea of what they need, and they don't have anything."

Anyone who would like to donate can drop off items at the main office.

Franck said they're particularly in need of any old ski's or snowboards.

The club has four trips planned for the year. The first one will be Sunday.
