PASCO, Wash. - The Port of Pasco gives Green Power a new deadline to meet before moving forward with the eviction process.
The port commissioners decided during Thursday's meeting they will allow Green Power to lease another 6-months if the company's CEO Michael Spitzauer hands over about $495,000 in cash or a cashier's check by 3 PM Tuesday.
Spitzauer failed to pay the original $570,000 dollars due Thursday.
The owner of the bio-fuels plant asked commissioners if he could lease a smaller amount of space instead, but it will still cost him.
