Brides 2013 Expo Promotes Local Businesses

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, Wash.-- Hundreds of brides-to-be packed into the TRAC in Pasco Sunday for the Brides 2013 expo.

Ninety local vendors displayed everything from wedding cakes and the latest dresses to unique flower arrangements.

Organizers said this is one of their biggest years yet with 500 brides attending and around 1,200 visitors in all.

The expo showcased only local companies to promote bridal business staying local.

"They think if they go out of town that's where the specialist is. You'll find that right here in town you have a lot of very, very, extremely creative people for a much more economical price," Terry Marie Fleischman, Event Organizer.

More than 300 brides pre-registered for the event to receive bags of complimentary items.

Fleischman said one of the most unique services featured at the expo this year is aerial photos of your wedding taken from a helicopter.
