PASCO, Wash. -- It appears that Franklin County Fire District 3 will get more time to come up with a long-term solution to their ambulance service issues.
Tonight, the Pasco City Council discussed extending their contract with the fire district for another year, at a rate of $90,000.
The city has provided ambulance service to the district for years and has told the district they need to increase the fees to bring them in line with what city residents currently pay for ambulance service.
The city council could vote on the proposal at their meeting next week.
