KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Two men are facing charges after Oregon State Police arrested them during a traffic stop last Wednesday along Highway 97 on the south end of Klamath Falls.
Police say they pulled the car over around 11AM for unspecified traffic violations northbound on Highway 97 near milepost 278. Officers say they then searched the car with a drug detection dog and found over one pound of methamphetamine.
Police arrested 31-year-old Antonio Pantoja-Sanchez from Pasco and 26-year-old Jorge Garcia-Mendoza, address not provided.
Police say the estimated value of the seized methamphetamine is $18,000.
Both men are in custody at Klamath County Jail for Unlawful Possession and Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
