KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Monday the Tri-Cities Fever finished their third and final day of training camp. 39 hopefuls took part in the two-a-day practices. Tuesday head coach Adam Shackleford and his staff expect to the cut that number down to 30. The final roster will hold only 25 players. Shackleford said he is ready for another turnaround of players.
"We're going to stay the same scheme. We've planned for guys leaving and we brought in a group of guys we think can run the same stuff, and win the same kind of ball games if we can stay healthy and do the right things. This is a time we're preparing for Colorado, out first opponent already, but really it's an evaluation process for who's aiming for our team," Shackleford said.
