SPOKANE, Wash. - A Spokane County Sheriff's Deputy called for extra back up after occupants of a stolen vehicle became combative Tuesday afternoon during a traffic stop.
It happened just after 5:00pm when Sheriff Deputies pulled over a stolen vehicle with four occupants near the West Wynn Motel on Sunset Blvd. Deputies say all four people were verbally combative and at some point one of them mentioned they had a gun. It was then that one person ran from the vehicle, and deputies radioed in a "Code 6," meaning they needed back up immediately.
All suspects have been detained and are in custody. No weapons have been recovered, but they say they found meth and needles inside the car.
