NBCRightNow.com - The Benton County Sheriff's Office is partnering with the Richland Yacht Club to offer a boater education course. The eight hour class will cover the basics of safe boating.
State law requires all boat operators between the ages of 12 and 50 to have boater safety training. Boaters must also carry a boater education card while operating a boat on state waterways.

Pre-registration is required by March 15, and may be done in person at the Benton County
