Coroner Releases Name of Victim Hit by Taxi Driver - NBC Right Now/KNDO/KNDU Tri-Cities, Yakima, WA |

PASCO, Wash. - NBC Right Now has learned the name of the bicyclist killed after a Tri-City Taxi driver hit him around 7 PM Wednesday in Pasco.

67-year-old Juan Licon-Padilla died at the scene shortly after the accident on the 2200 Block of W. Lewis St.

Franklin County Coroner Dan Blasdel says Padilla died from severe brain and internal injuries. He says Padilla looked like he was coming from an apartment complex nearby when he went into the road in front of the driver.

Police say the taxi driver was working at the time of the accident. No charges have been filed.
