Kennewick Suspect Arrested in Connection with West Virginia Death

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash. - A Kennewick man is behind bars tonight in connection with a death investigation in West Virginia.

Kennewick police arrested Chad Renzleman, 32, after deputies in Roane County, West Virginia contacted them. Investigators there believe Renzleman sent drugs to a West Virginia man. They say the man gave his wife too much LSD and she died from an overdose Friday.

On Saturday, Kennewick police served a search warrant at Renzleman's Canyon Lake's South Hill  home on 43rd Avenue and say they did find drugs.

However, they would not specify what kind of drugs were found until testing is complete at a crime lab.

Deputies in West Virginia say both the victim's husband and the Kennewick man are facing first degree murder and delivery of a controlled substance charges.
