Whitworth moves on to the Sweet 16

Updated:

Colton McCargar scored 26 points to lead Whitworth to an 86-67 win over Emory in a D-III men's basketball playoff game.

The Pirates move on to the Sweet 16, where it will face Mary Hardin-Baylor. Whitworth beat the Crusaders, 70-61, earlier this season.

Whitworth shot 26-of-31 from the free-throw line, which helped it stave off a late comeback attempt by Emory.
