Car Crashes Through Subway

SPOKANE, Wash. - Emergency responders were called the Shadle Park shopping center Sunday afternoon after a car came crashing into a Subway restaurant.

Witnesses on scene told our crews there were no injuries and it appears to be a case where the driver mistook the gas pedal for the brake pedal and went crashing right through the front of the store.

It is unknown if the driver was cited.

The Subway will be closed at least for the rest the day for clean up and repair.
