SPOKANE – With two weeks to go before the regular season kicks off, the Spokane Shock had one of their final tune-ups on Sunday. The Shock hosted their annual Orange vs. White game, with the White team winning 34-28.
Quarterback Erik Meyer started for the White team and threw for five touchdowns in the win. It was Meyer's first time playing in the arena since he was injured in the first week of last season.
2,750 fans showed up to watch the scrimmage, as they prepare for the team's home opener Friday, April 12th vs. Arizona.
After the scrimmage, the Shock were on a deadline in which they had to cut their 35-man roster down to 28 by 10 PM.
