PASCO, Wash. - Attorneys in an upcoming murder trial continue to battle over evidence in the case.
Witnesses were called to the stand Tuesday during a special hearing for Tashia Stuart's murder trial. Attorneys on both sides argued over cell phones and a micro SD card that were found at the scene.
Stuart's defense claims detectives unlawfully looked at data on one of the phones before a search warrant was served.
Prosecutors said Stuart killed her adoptive mother during an argument over money. Stuart claims she shot Judy Hebert in self-defense.
