PASCO, Wash.-- The Union Gospel Mission in Pasco received their biggest donation ever Tuesday.
A donation of $300,000 worth of new clothing arrived at the mission Tuesday morning.
A rental company donated the 25 palates of clothing because their business was just bought out.
The mission plans to start handing out the items next week to those in need.
"It's brand new clothing so this is clothing that may last them for a while. It's not used clothing like we normally give out, stuff that comes in. It's going to be really exciting to give people brand new coats and shirts and things," said Andrew Porter, Union Gospel Mission.
More than 3,000 people come to the mission for clothing every year.
Porter estimates this donation will help hundreds of people.
