FAA Closing Airport Control Towers in Pendleton and Yakima

NBCRightNow.com - The Federal Aviation Administration plans to shut down airport control towers in Yakima and Pendleton as a result of mandatory federal budget cuts.

The FAA released the list Friday with a total of 149 federal towers closing around the nation starting April 7.

The towers will now be run by air traffic controllers at Sea-Tac.
